Who We Are

Hi, I'm Davidson, a Brazilian software engineer with over 10 years of experience, and the creator of Kins. I'm also a proud dad to an almost 3-year-old son and husband to an amazing wife. Kins isn't just a side project—it's a way to give back to the doula community that supported my family when we needed it most.

As a non-American living in the US, my wife and I welcomed our son without family nearby. Our doula was a lifeline, guiding us through the birth and early days. But I couldn't help noticing her toolkit—paper notes, scattered schedules, outdated methods. With my tech background, I saw an opportunity to make her life easier. That's how Kins was born.

What We Do

Kins is a simple, user-friendly app designed for doulas. It helps you manage clients, schedule appointments, and organize documentation—all in one place. It's about cutting the clutter so you can focus on what matters: supporting families. As a side project, it's still growing, and I'm excited to shape it with feedback from doulas like you.

Why Kins Matters

This isn't just about tech—it's personal. I built Kins to say thank you to the doula who helped us and to empower others like her. Doulas do incredible work, but outdated tools slow them down. Kins aims to change that, one task at a time, so you can spend more energy on the families you serve.
